The YSR Congress Party will take a decision on the crucial issue of Telangana at the plenary of the party, which would be held in Idupulapaya in Kadapa district from July 8, party leader Ambati Rambabu said.
Addressing reporters in Rajahmundry on Sunday, he said no leader of the party would make a statement on Telangana issue till then. He said stand of the party on the resignations of Telangana MLAs and MLCs would also be announced during the plenary meeting.
He took potshots at the Congress government saying that chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy had become a laughing stock in the eyes of the people. “So many leaders in the Congress are staking claim for the CM’s chair. This only shows the inefficiency of Kiran to run the government,” he said. TOI
