Hyderabad: Taking serious exception to TRS Chief Mr K Chandrashekar Rao’s son and Siricilla MLA Mr KT Ramarao criticizing the late Chief Minister Dr YSR and his son and YSR Congress Party Chief Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSR Congress Party leader Mr Gone Prakash Rao has warned him not to issue ‘Fathwas’ similar to those issued by the Ulemas, thinking that Telangana was his own ‘Jaagir’.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Tuesday, Mr Prakash Rao said that it was not proper for Mr Ramarao to say that Mr Jagan has to visit Telangana only after tendering apology to the people, for the mistakes committed by his father Dr YSR. Mr Ramarao has no right to ask Mr Jagan to visit Telangana region only after making latter’s stand on Telangana clear, he added.
Mr Gone alleged that Mr Ramarao was issuing ‘fathwas’ using Telangana sentiment, and said that the day will come when Mr Ramarao has to reveal TRS party’ mistakes. Referring to Telangana Praja Front convener Mr Gaddar’s remarks that Telangana will not become a reality with Mr KCR, Mr Gone alleged that Mr KTR family has no shame and its agenda was ‘elections’ and ‘collections’ only. He said that the day will come when TRS would face a ‘check’ from Telangana people.
Pointing out that the Telangana Political JAC convener Prof. Kodandaram, who was abstaining from TDP suspended leader Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy’s ‘Telangana Nagara’ meetings, and not extending support to Mr Jupally Padayathras, Mr Gone questioned him whether these leaders have to shift their loyalties to TRS taking B-form from TRS like the Vemulavada MLA Mr Chennamaneni Ramesh.
He urged Mr Ramarao not to do business with the Telangana sentiment and said that the TRS has not at all discussed about Telangana issue in the executive meeting held at Mahabubnagar, on the occasion of completion of 10 years of launching the party.
He made it clear that his party was ready to participate in the all party team to be led by Mr KCR, if the latter tried to convince the Utter Pradesh Chief Minister Ms Mayawati and West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamatha Benarjee on Telangana issue.
Mr Gone has warned Mr Ramarao to control his tongue and said that Mr Jagan will tour the Telangana region after announcing his stand on Telangana clearly on July 8 or 9, at the party plenary. He said that Dr YSR never committed any mistake and it was not correct to make statements against the late leader.
