YSR Was Yama And Saindhava: KTR

TRS MLA K T Rama Rao has described the late Chief Minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy as Yama and Saindhava for the people of Telangana.

Talking to the media here on Saturday, he said it was only because of YSR that the Telangana dream was shattered.

He said the Suryapet public meeting would give a clarion call for people to bury the Congress party. He said the UPA government was not at all responding to the sentiments of the people. He said all the leaders “under the control of the Seemandhra leaders should come out and join hands with the TRS to achieve Telangana. He said people of Telangana do not want the rule of the Seemandhra leaders. Stating that TRS was the only party that grew by itself for achieving Telangana, he said achieving Telangana would be possible only when people support his party.

KTR said that YSR had achieved victory for his party only through the alliance with the TRS. He has alleged that after coming to power, he tried to use the power of his money to weaken the TRS. He has also stated that YSR who had assured that he would respect the Telangana sentiments when he was in the region, has told the Seemandhra people that when Telangana was conceded, people would need passports to visit the region, when he visited the Seemandhra region.

KTR has also said that the YSR Congress and TDP leaders were displaying the Rayalseema Dadagiri and has warned that if they continue this attitude people of Telangana would retaliate and they would not be able to step on the Telangana soil. He said it was better for them to state what they had to and quitely quit Telangana region. Referring to the praises being showered by the YSR Congress leaders on YSR and his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, KTR has said people of Telangana would never forget that Jagan displayed a placard opposing Telangana in the Parliament and his father YSR had insulted TRS leader Eetela Rajendra in the Assembly. He said TDP and YSR Congress leaders should do what they want to as political parties in the Telangana region and not to resort to attacks on the people. Referring to the claims of trustworthiness by the YSR Congress leaders, he said if buying legislators of other parties was trustworthiness. (NSS)
