The condition of yoga guru Ramdev, who was admitted to a hospital in Dehradun on Friday, was stable on Saturday, his close aides said.
Baba Ramdev, who was admitted to the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences on Friday evening after his condition deteriorated on the seventh day of his fast against corruption, was administered saline and glucose.
A spokesman of the hospital said a team of doctors would again monitor Baba Ramdev’s health in the morning and issue a medical bulletin later in the day.
“He is conscious. He spoke to his aides last night,” sources said.
