The Trinamul Congress chief, Ms Mamata Banerjee, has asked the sons and daughters of party leaders to campaign for party candidates, not willing to give even an inch to the CPM. On Sunday, offsprings of the important CPM leader, late Anil Biswas, Mr Gautam Deb, Mr Shyamal Chakraborty and Mr Suryakanta Mishra, extensively campaigned for party’s young candidate, Mr Satarup Ghose, in the Kasba Assembly constituency. They caught the imagination of the people and received good response.

Immediately, Ms Banerjee also decided to deploy the young brigade for campaigning in the city. Party sources said that the Trinamul Congress’ Gen X will also organise a road show in the same Kasba constituency for the party candidate, Mr Javed Khan.

The Leader of Opposition, Mr Partha Chatterjee’s daughter, party MP, Mr Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar’s two sons, party MP, Mr Kalyan Banerjee’s daughter, party candidates, Mr Sadhan Pande’s and Mr Shashi Panja’s daughters are the ones campaigning.

The Rs. MP, Mr Tutu Bose’s son, Mr Srinjoy Bose, is also among the host of sons and daughters of the TMC leaders who are likely to participate in the extensive campaign on Saturday, which will begin from Bijen Setu in south Kolkata. Asian Age
