Veteran Gandhian Anna Hazare, whose fast-unto-death demanding a more stringent anti-corruption law entered day three here Thursday, said he could carry on for at least seven more days andhe was fine except for “slight weakness”.
“Apart from a slight weakness, I am fine. I’ve lost a little weight but still I can carry on for at least seven more days. I’ll never leave the path of truth,” Hazare told reporters here amid thunderous applause from crowds at Jantar Mantar, a short distance away from the capital.
“You don’t worry, god is with me,” added Hazare.
Hazare’s anti-corruption crusade has led to a groundswell of support with thousands of people joining the movement across India. He is demanding that the Lokpal (ombudsman) bill be given more teeth so it can effectively tackle corruption in public life. India Vision
