Mamata Banerjee is soon going to join the likes of chief ministers Narendra Modi , Nitish Kumar and Omar Abdullah .
Taking a step forward to reach closer to the common man, Mamata is going to launch her own website to address the grievances of the people.
Since the site is being planned to focus on improving communication with the people, it will have news blogs, photo galleries, videos along with biography and speeches of the chief minister. The site will also carry Mamata’s policies and visions.
Plans are on to put up some of Mamatas’ paintings on the site. The site is going to be userfriendly and people can easily set up appointment with the minister and also invite her for different programmes. However, the appointment seekers need to be brief about their request and after scrutinising it, the CM’s aides will decide on the urgency to allot an appointment.
This is going to help NRI investors as well to discuss their projects with her, an official said. Even those seeking funds for treatment or education can easily appeal to the chief minister’s relief fund. The site will even contain names and phone numbers of the officers in the CM’s office so that the people can talk to them for necessary support at odd hours.
As Mamata heads the personnel and administrative reforms department, she wants complaints against government staff to reach her directly. For that, there will be a complaint section with separate segments for different districts and departments.
The site will give a roadmap to the investors as well and highlight the core areas for which she seeks investments. So names of IT Parks and Special Economic Zones will also feature on the site. Economic Times
