Modi, Advani visiting Puttaparthi

Hyderabad: The Gujarat Chief Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, will be arriving in Puttaparthi by a special aircraft from Ahmedabad on Tuesday morning to pay homage to the mortal remains of Sri Satya Sai Baba.

In a pressnote here on Monday, the State Bharatiya Janata Party president, Mr G Kishan Reddy, stated that Mr Modi will arrive in Puttaparthi at 10 am on Tuesday and leave for Ahmedabad later after paying last respects to the Baba’s body.

Mr Kishan Reddy also stated that the national BJP leader, Mr L K Advani, will be arriving in Hyderabad on Tuesday night. On Wednesday morning, Mr Advani will leave for Puttaparthi in a special flight to participate in the last journey of Sri Satya Sai Baba. Later, he would leave for Delhi. (NSS)
