Nalgonda, Feb.12 (NSS): Condemning the PRP Chief Mr K Chiranjeevi’s corruption allegation against late Dr YSR’s rule, minister Mr Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has opined that the benefit to the Congress party would be very less due to the merger of Mr K Chiranjeevi party in it. He said that there would be no benefit to the Congress in Telangana region, and even in Seemandhra region, it would not be up to the expectations.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Mr Venkat Reddy demanded Mr Chiranjeevi to tender an apology and take back his allegations against Dr YSR rule. He warned that he will not tolerate criticism against Dr YSR, and said that it was not proper for Mr Chiranjeevi to criticize Dr YSR at a time when the leaders were using the photo of the diseased leader in the Rachchabanda programme. He reminded the words of AICC President Ms Sonia Gandhi at the time of Dr YSR death that the Congress party had lost a great leader in the form of Dr YSR.
Welcoming Mr Chiranjeevi’s PRP merger in the Congress party, Mr Venkat Reddy said that it was a good sign to the Congress party. (NSS)
