Botsa sheds tears in ‘Meet The Press’

Hyderabad: PCC Chief Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana has shed tears in the meet the press programme organized by the Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists here today.

When a reporter asked him about the Volkeswagon issue, he turned emotional and shed tears. He said he was pained when allegations of corruption were leveled against him in the Volkeswagon deal, when he was the Minister for major Industries. He said he was disturbed that such allegations were made against him though he was innocent.

He said when he was worrying about his fate when those allegations were made, his mother saw his outburst in TV and consoled him. He has reiterated that he had not done anything wrong in that deal.

Replying a question on PRP’s merger, he said he was ready to work with Mr. Chiranjeevi. He said he would take every one along with him to strengthen the Congress party in the State.
