Hyderabad, Feb.15 (NSS): The PCC Chief Mr D Srinivas has said that the PCC appointed Flagship Programmes Monitoring Committees would monitor the Government schemes implementation and report to the government. He said that the government would accept the suggestions of the committees for better implementation of the schemes
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday after a meeting with the monitoring committees’ members at Gandhi Bhavan, Mr Srinivas said that the government would respond on the feedback of the committees and it would rectify if there are any lapses in implementation of the schemes. He said that the committees would be extended up to mandal and village level if the functioning of the present committees were effective. He stated that the State was the first one to organize this meeting across the country.
Mr Srinivas said that the Committees would organize at least one meeting in every district and every committee would tour two districts in every month. He informed that there would be next meeting within 15 days and the concerned minister would attend it. Before the meeting, the members would get the required information from the concerned ministry to get the knowledge on the schemes, he added.
