Hyderabad: TDP MLA Mr. Revanth Reddy has expressed anger at Seemandhra Congress public representatives and particularly about his own party MLA Mr. Payyavula Keshav for threatening about suicide attacks against Telangana.

Talking to the media here on Thursday, he said it was not a difficult task for the people of Telangana to drive away Seemandhra people. He said people were ready to fight as they had fought against Rajakars during the Nizam rule. “If attacks start, Seemandhra people would have to resort to suicides not suicide attacks” he has threatened.

Mr. Revanth Reddy has maintained that more than the leaders, the people of Telangana were longing for separate state. He has termed the Seemandhra public representatives as more cruel than the Pakistan terrorists. “We know holding not only a pen, but also a gun,” he said and added that the Seemandhra leaders should desist from provocative statements. He has alleged that leaders like Mr. T G Venkatesh and Mr. Lagadapati Raja Gopal were provoking the people of Telangana by warning about raising armies to fight against Telangana. Days were not far off when we would drive away those who advocate united AP, he warned.

Mr. Revanth Reddy has alleged that Seemandhra capitalists were making Telangana a scapegoat for their own business interests. Calling the Andhra people shameless, he said they want to stick here, despite spitting on their faces. He has questioned if Andhras want to remain here to carry the chappals of the Telangana people. He has alleged that the Telangana region was polluted by the Seemandhra people.

Stating that the Telangana movement was so far going on in a democratic way, he said if the rulers do not understand it, they would be told in a language they would understand.

Referring to his resignation, he said he would not contest elections again if it was proved that it was not in the specified Speaker’s format.
