Saudi’s Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz stressed that fighting corruption has many significances and all doors should be opened in order to easily and perseveringly stand against this social phenomenon.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said, on Monday, that Prince Nayef met with the National Authority for Combating Corruption (NACC) Chairman Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Sharif and wished the latter success in his endeavors of choosing the right men for this mission of countering corruption.
Prince Nayef stressed on the importance of cooperation and laying down the proper laws and systems with the Ministry of Interior and its apparatuses as well as other ministries in order to achieve public interest.
He further noted that, under the orders of the Saudi King and the decision made by the Council of Ministers, the NACC was established as an implantation of a national strategy to protect integrity and fight corruption in the country.
The direct link between the NACC and the Saudi King reflects the King’s support and concern of ensuring that no challenging obstacles would face the mission of this developmental institute. Agencies
