Bahrain’s Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa said that his country and Kuwait are united by deep-rooted and brotherly ties that make this relationship, a model for integration and work for mutual benefits.
Prince Khalifa made the comment ahead of the upcoming visit to Bahrain of his Kuwaiti counterpart HH Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Talks between the two countries aim to support cooperation under all fields on the official public and private sector scales, and efforts to open up channels leading to this, he said.
Prince Khalifa expressed Bahrain’s gratitude for Kuwait’s position on its security and stability, while hailing Kuwait’s contributions to Bahraini development, and its support of Gulf Cooperation Council and Arab joint efforts.
He said Bahrain would stand side by side with Kuwait and the other GCC states on seeking to enact the role of the Gulf union in a fast-paced world.
Bahrain is also keen on coordinating and discussing the developments and changes of regional and international affairs in a means that enhance the security and stability of the region, tackling challenges that threaten to undermine this stability, he said.
