Bahrain security ‘returning to normal

‘All signs confirm that security, which has always characterised , is returning and life is going back to normal after attempts by some people to destabilise the nation,’ said His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

He paid tribute to every honest citizen and brotherly and friendly country for their support to the kingdom during the sensitive period it went through.

He was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday Shura Council and parliament chairmen Ali Saleh Al Saleh and Khalifa Al Dhahrani as well as senior officials.

He said Bahrain is regaining strength ‘which is not surprising for a country boasting such unparalleled loyal people.’

He also hailed GCC, Arab and international support to the kingdom pointing out that openness must be exploited to serve the national interests and defend national issues.

HRH the Premier underscored the importance of the banking sector in reinvigorating economic activities and urged them to boost collaboration with financial establishments to add impetus to the economic momentum.

‘The GCC countries represent one entity and have a common destiny,’ he said, commending the GCC unity which is growing stronger and stronger and calling to take advantage of it in all security, political, economic and social fields. Agencies
