London, March 23 (IANS) British Prime Minister David Cameron and US President Barack Obama agreed during talks Wednesday that NATO should play a key role in the command structure of the Libyan intervention, Xinhua reported.

The US, France, Britain and several other countries launched a military operation in Libya to enforce a UN-resolution imposing a no-fly zone over the North African country.

British forces are patrolling the skies over Libya for the fifth day Wednesday with Tornado and Typhoon jets.

Cameron said Wednesday that Arab countries have supported the operation in Libya. Kuwait and Jordan will help in the mission with logistical support.
