Libyan dictator Muammar al-Gaddafi is a psychological wreck, former Libyan Foreign Affairs Minister Moussa Koussa has told British spy chiefs.
According to the Sun, Koussa said that Gaddafi is cowering in the rubble of his bomb-battered bunker in Tripoli, surrounded by bitterly feuding henchmen.
Koussa gave his handlers an extraordinary account of conditions after the MI6 flew the 62-year-old to Britain on Wednesday.
“Koussa is cooperating well and giving us a treasure trove of useful material,” the tabloid quoted a senior Whitehall source, as saying.
Koussa had been at the head of Libyan intelligence for over a decade, and is being accused by anti-government forces for the assassination of Libyan expat dissidents abroad.
Western intelligence officials suspect him of having orchestrated the Lockerbie bombing over Scotland in 1988 as well as, a year later, the bombing of a French jet in the Niger airspace. Agencies
