Chandigarh, March 25 (IANS) Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani will visit India to watch the India-Pakistan World Cup semi-final at Mohali March 30 on the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, informed sources said Friday.

The Chandigarh Police has been told to prepare for the visit of the Pakistani leaders, the sources told IANS.

This follows letters Manmohan Singh sent to Zardari and Gilani asking them to come and see the India-Pakistan match, the first after the Mumbai 2008 terror attack that almost sparked a war between the two countries.

Pakistan defeated the West Indies and India stunned champions Australia to sail into the last four of the World Cup.
